Gallup (where I once worked) polls the world annually to see what percentage of people are thriving, struggling, or suffering.
One overlooked aspect of human well-being is Community Well-Being — how you feel about where you live.
Is it safe?
Even walkable at night?
Do you feel connected to friends or neighbors?
Do you have clean water and good utilities.
Do you trust local leaders? The police?
Are you involved?
My team is working on a project that might boost the chances for a person to discover great things about their local community that they didn’t know before — and get connected to people doing these things — with the hope that community well-being can increase and that loneliness and despair can decline.
