Today I met an amazing fund creator who has the most refreshing approach to investing that I have ever heard in my 32 years as a founder.
Her track record (IRR) is incredible not in spite of her approach but precisely because her primary purpose is love — building people up, supporting founders in every way — and because she and her fund partner attract people (investors and founders) who share these same values, and support each other in unheard of ways.
In my opinion, they have a good chance to prove that conscious capitalism does work and can be far more inclusive than previously demonstrated — in Silicon Valley for example.
Anyone would be fortunate to be an LP in this fund and have a front-row seat as their approach plays out in the coming years.
